The yoga adapts
to the person.
From 2006 to 2013 this domain carried Healing of Yoga Japan — an association bringing T. Krishnamacharya’s teaching to Japan —
and a small studio by the sea in Shōnan.
An association and its studio.
The association
Krishnamacharya’s teaching, the KHYF qualifications, Japan’s first KHYF teacher training, and workshops whose proceeds went to Chennai.
The studio
Japan’s first studio for this teaching, by its own account: plaster walls, teak over charcoal, a garden outside. 2007–2010.
Summarised from the association’s own Japanese pages. Teachers’ names and contact details are not reproduced.
2026A NAME WITH A PAST. A SITE WITH A FUTURE.
“The individual should not be adapted to the yoga.”
The site’s first page began from a simple idea: every person has a different body, mind and set of troubles, so the practice has to fit them. Healing of Yoga Japan spent seven years bringing that idea, and the teachers who carried it, to Japan. Then the pages stopped, and the name drifted through registrars, a host’s starter page and two gambling templates.
We’re following the snapshots and being honest about the gaps. Come take a look around.
